Fish in the oven
This is one of the delicious dishes serverd on the Moroccan table. The fillets cooked in a spicy tomato sauce and an abundance of vegetables. My Moroccan fish tagine is the perfect dish for lunch or dinner, and it’s made in 30 minutes! Delicious and healthy, it doesn’t get any better than that! all we need to prepare this simple tajine :
Ingredients we need:
- potatoes,
- red and green peppers,
- tomatoes,
- lemon,
- chili,
- carrots,
- zucchini,
- onions,
- pickled olives,
- bay leaf,
- Garlic,
- I used congre, you can choose your favorite

My way of preparing fish in the oven
We knock spices, plus garlic and parsley.Add a little vinegar.Divide the spice mixture into 3 parts, part for fish, second part for vegetables, and third, put in the tagine ( we call it in Morocco charmoula )Mix the second mixture with a little oil and grease the vegetables with it
Over the fire, put the tagine, put the third part of the mixture, with the rest of the olive oil, then stack the vegetables, as in the pictures
Add a little water.Leave the congre, lemon, and olives until the vegetables are slightly cooked.When the vegetables are cooked a little, we put the fish, and we don’t leave it long until the fish dry and tastes bad.
