Malva Recipe -bakoula-

It can be eaten on its own or served as a side dish.. bakoula also comes from the house of hibiscus and is a delicious Moroccan salad that forms part of the base of steamed delicacies and is cooked with cilantro, oil, olive oil, spices, and lemon juice. It’s a fresh and flavorful salad. They can be substituted with epinardes and that’s fine too. Violet is a wild plant that is highly prized in the Maghreb region, consumed with a good house (baked dar bread).
Ingridents for malva
To prepare this recipe, we need malva according to the quantity.
- large head of garlic,
- A large amount of fresh coriander,
- olive oil,
- sweet red pepper,
- cumin,
- hot harissa,
- pickled lemon,
- A small amount of coriander,
- salt, lemon juice,
- Pieces of fresh lemon,
- Pickled olives .
Chop the malva and fresh coriander, then put them in the steamer with the garlic, until everything is cooked, for 10 minutes.
In another pot, we put olive oil, sweet red pepper, harissa or hot pepper, cumin, a little coriander, and also steamed garlic.
Leave the mixture until it warms up a little. Add the malva , lemon juice, fresh lemon pieces, and finally the pickled olives and leave them over the fire until the water dries.
